CABERNET FRANC / MERLOT VALBION
The grapes for Cabernet Franc / Merlot Valbion come from the single vineyard site "Valbion" on the Kreiter Sattel (Coyotenpass), above Lake Caldaro. Situated at approximately 380 metres above sea level, the vineyard has a south-western exposure and has been owned by Stroblhof Winery since 2015.

SOIL CHARACTERISTICS
Warm soils formed from glacial moraine deposits and weathered porphyry, with a rocky subsoil.

GRAPE VARIETY
70% Cabernet Franc and 30% Merlot, trained using the Guyot system. Planted in 2015, with an average vine spacing of 70 × 200.
